These are the words on the bronze plaque on the stone memorial adjacent to the seven graves of 5 Squadron RNZAF aircrew who died when their Catalina NZ4048 KN-C crashed on takeoff at Satapuala, Western Samoa,  on Monday 11th December 1950 and are buried in the cemetery at Maagiagi, Apia.
